The Great Escape Festival 2026.

I headed to Brighton for The Great Escape Festival 2026… and totally failed to watch Angine De Poitrine. From vegan kebabs and Guinness Zero at The Hope & Ruin to freezing in festival queues, dodging Brighton rain, press accreditation, beach walk chaos, late-night venue hopping and discovering some unbelievable new bands — this was a properly messy, brilliant Great Escape weekend. Featuring live clips, festival chaos, Brighton nightlife, music industry nonsense, and loads of new music discoveries including: Martial Arts Cowboy Hunters Betina Quest Native James Toast Club Annie Dog Trampoline Cosign The Itch …and more.
